Ben started with the company when he was just 17 years old and quickly made his mark to become an invaluable member of the team. There is nothing that Ben can't turn his hand to when it comes to repairs and his customer service skills are second to none.

I’m Ben, Repairer Extraordinaire. I joined Elgin Shoe Repair when I was just 17 years old.

I started, initially, as a part-time worker, but soon Kenny, the owner, noticed my passion for the job and offered me a full-time position. I have been working here for almost 15 years and I still love every minute of it.

I take a lot of pride in my work and I always strive to satisfy our customers and assist them in any way possible. I enjoy going the extra mile and seeing the smiles on our customers’ faces when I meticulously restore their beloved footwear with care and precision.

Even though I have years of experience, I still face new and exciting challenges every day. As a multi-service repair shop, we get all kinds of unusual and interesting requests. I keep learning new skills as I tackle different repairs, whether it’s shoes, watches, keys, or engraving. We can handle all your needs in one wee shop.
